As soon as the pressure let off his arms he came around and then looked embarrassed, ashamed. Instantly worried that he ruined everything because of that expression on the bassist's face.
"I'm sorry." His voice is small, meek, in the moment because this is old fear that he can't control and honestly didn't know was going to happen until it did. Mikkel looks just as confused as Sigurd because he hadn't expected that reaction.
"I.. I didn't mean to ruin...." Ruin what? He didn't know and suddenly felt like crying. He's still emotional and messy from being with Sigurd earlier in the day. This was just adding fuel to that fire. He covered his face as he laid there, half wanting to curl up and send the Swede away.
