"You're more of a bastard about it than he is." Mikkel smiled but it faded while he poured himself another glass of vodka. "I don't know."

It was honest. Ansgar might be fine with it or he might blow up into a tirade. Mikkel had no idea but Ansgar watched him like a hawk and teased him about how he stared at the Swede, so maybe it would be ok. "My brother's... defensive sometimes."

All the Soerens were to some degree. He pulled out a glass to pour a drink for Sigurd too. Though he smiled briefly at the kiss it faded quickly.

"People." Mikkel admitted and paused before turning around to offer Sigurd his glass and sit on his own bed across the space from the Swede with his own glass. He hoped Sigurd didn't ask more about what was wrong with him because that would ruin the night for everyone.
